this is the beginning

This is the beginning of a long journey. The story of my life, as time passes by. I sit here, at my desk, staring at an empty cup of coffee, Sigg water bottle, Timbuk2 messenger bag, and a fairly new aluminum Macbook. Am I obsessed with brands? Some may say yes. Others may say that I enjoy quality. My life, as a consumer, often overrides my life as a person. Constantly looking for and reading about the next best thing has become a habit that is difficult for me to break. It is certainly not, what is the next best thing for me. It clogs my brain, hijacks my thoughts, and complicates my life. Now is the time to change.
