I biked over to the Islamic Center of Nashville (ICN) from Vandy today because I really needed to get away from the bench for a moment. I needed a place to clear my mind and focus on important tasks. What better place than the house of Allah? I was able to design some experiments to possibly add to my dissertation proposal. I still have to run them by the boss man and get his approval.
I shot this video while in the masjid. This is the inside of the Musallah, about one hour before the Asr prayer. Although you cannot see anyone, the masjid was not empty. I think there were about 10 people there, which is pretty good for this time of day.
