So, I got some new glasses. I was going for the more contemporary look. I went over the the Vandy eyeglass place and chatted with the optometrist while he was adjusting my frames. I let it slip that I ordered the glasses online and he looked like he wanted to freak out. He then went on a tantrum about why he hates those places and the reason they can sell their glasses cheap is because they don’t have to pay someone like him who went to school and learned how to do these things. I apologized to him, but he said, “you don’t need to apologize.” Well, I guess I can’t go back there when I get another pair of glasses online.
By the way, these glasses cost me about $20. In his store, maybe they would’ve been $200.
