Lab Meeting
We had a lab meeting today, which lasted about as long as it would take me to run a marathon. I showed my apoptosis data and we also spoke about my grant. I need to add in the potential pitfalls section, concerning my increase in NO by blocking arginase, that it may be possible that the increase is due to reduced apoptosis. However, I have data to suggest otherwise, such as the difference in necrosis w/ and w/o BEC and also, I could propose to test it by giving cyclosporin, to block membrane depolarization, at the time of giving arginase.
Other than the lab meeting, I started a new culture of RAW cells (see above).
I’m also preparing to attend a dinner at Pat Kurtz house, on of the members of my interfaith dialogue. I am looking forward to some delicious food.
