Biking: Vandy to home
I biked home yesterday. I realized around 5:00 that I wouldn’t be able to finish my experiment in enough time in order to catch the 5:45 bus. So, I let my wife know and continued working. I finished up around 6:30 and left Vandy around 6:45. I made it to my door around 7:35, making a grand total of 50 minutes. The distance of the journey was about 11 miles. I biked over to the Islamic Center of Nashville (ICN) from Vandy today because I really needed to get away from the bench for a moment. I needed a place to clear my mind and focus on important tasks. He then went on a tantrum about why he hates those places and the reason they can sell their glasses cheap is because they...

I was taking my bike for a ride the other day after work. I was headed to Red Caboose park, to sit under my favorite tree and think about my dissertation proposal. As I’m riding down Sawyer Brown Rd., a one lane street with no shoulder, a burgundy Dodge Stratus approached from behind. As they pulled beside me, a lady sitting in the passenger seat yells out, “SHOW OFF LIKE THAT AND...
