new bike
I got a new bike! Whoo hooo! A friend gave this bike to me and I am very greatful. I’ll post more info, with pictures, about it later. For now, I have to sell the other one. Oh, by the way, I received my replacement cotter pins and have replaced the broken one. The size of the pin is 9.0 mm.
bottom bracket
Dan and I worked on my bike this Saturday. We replaced the ball bearings in the pedals and the bottom bracket. We had to find replacement bearings and I searched around the local bike shops and Cumberland Transit were the only ones who had them in the right size. They gave us a bunch of them for $1.50. I biked home today from the bus stop. I had to climb a major hill, the same one everyday, which usually exhausts me.
